Our Partners

Mijares-Gurango Craniofacial Foundation

Operation Restore Hope has been fortunate to partner with the Mijares-Gurango Craniofacial Foundation since 2007. The Foundation, headed up by the talented Plastic Surgeon Dr Taps Gurango has made it possible for us to care for with very complex cases such as rare facial clefts, encephaloceles and very wide clefts that require orthodontia which are all ill suited to a mission environment. The collaboration between Dr Gurango and Dr Hodgkinson has ensured that the children who present at Operation Restore Hope missions with more profound needs are provided both surgery and ongoing care at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center in Manila with funding sourced by Operation Restore Hope.

Las Piñas City Medical Center

Operation Restore Hope held its first mission in partnership with Las Piñas City Medical Center (LPCMC) in May 2017 and has already followed up the patients for ongoing care.  The next mission is scheduled for the last week in April 2018.  Operation Restore Hope is grateful to the team at Las Piñas, who are very dedicated to serving the community and to working with the charity to help less fortunate children in their community with cleft lip and palate.

Philippine Australian Medical Association

The Philippine Australian Medical Association (PAMA) was founded 25 years ago to assist Filipino medical professionals to obtain the necessary licensure to be able to carry on their practice in Australia.

Today, the Association not only fulfills this purpose but goes above and beyond in upholding standards in medicine whilst promoting professional development and fellowship among its members.

PAMA has both promoted charitable medical missions as well as holding its own medical mission annually to remote areas of the Philippines since 2008.  PAMA has generously assisted Operation Restore Hope through active networking and sharing of knowledge and resources.

Rotary Club of Metro Cebu

Since Operation Restore Hope began, its number one partner on the ground has been the Rotary Club of Metro Cebu (RCMC).  The Rotarians help not only with community relations but with the transportation, feeding and housing of patients and their families during the missions as well as being a conduit between these patients and the charity. RCMC helps many other groups and causes as well but remains a vital support for Operation Restore Hope and its work in Cebu.
