Little Alia came to us as a little toddler who wanted to sing.

But Alia's deformities were so severe including a wide cleft lip and palate that not only could she not sing, nor speak properly but found it very difficult to eat as the food would escape either her mouth or through her nose.

We were able to do a series of operations on Alia which have made her not only a lovely young lady who is now in school, but such a confident girl that she came to our tenth anniversary in Cebu to sing for our volunteers. There was not a dry eye in the room!
